Mary Stewart has spent more than twenty-five years serving the Kansas City Kansas School District. Prior to becoming Principal, she acted as Assistant Principal, Activities Coordinator, Secondary Math Curriculum Specialist, School Improvement Facilitator, Instructional Coach, and Math Teacher.
She possesses a Specialist degree in Education Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Master Degree in Urban Education from K-State, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Emporia University.
Assistant Principal Hospitality and Health Careers Communities
Mr. Brian Cooper has been employed by the Kansas City Kansas School District for nine years. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal, he taught and acted as administrator for over twenty years in the Lawrence Public Schools. He also acted as administrator in Garden City and Turner School Districts.
He possesses a Master degree in School Administration from Emporia University and a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of Kansas.
Assistant Principal of Visual Arts and FAST communities
Mrs. Yolanda Thompson has been employed by the Kansas City Kansas School District for over ten years. She grew up in the district attending Lindbergh Elementary, Coronado Middle, and Sumner Academy.
She possesses a Master degree in Education Administration from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, a Master degree in Education from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Kansas.
Assistant Principal of Performing Arts, Business, and Global Communities
Ms. Patricia Egans has worked for the Kansas City Kansas School District for over twenty years. She possesses a Administration Certificate from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, a Master Degree in Sports Administration and Health from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Kansas Wesleyan University.
